Feeley & Driscoll Volunteers for Habitat for the 9th Consecutive Year

BOSTON, MA (July 15, 2008) -- On Friday, June 20, 2008, 50 staff members from Feeley & Driscoll, P.C. volunteered their time to the Merrimack Valley Habitat for Humanity, marking the 9th consecutive year that Feeley & Driscoll has partnered with the organization. The Feeley & Driscoll team had the honor of being the first team to work on a brand new Habitat acquisition – the former St. Patrick Parish Convent in Lawrence, MA. Erected in the early 20th century, the convent once was home to over 30 nuns serving in local parochial schools and hospitals. Habitat for Humanity plans to convert the 16,000 square foot structure to nearly a dozen condos over the next several years.

Feeley & Driscoll was particularly proud to work on a site in Lawrence following a devastating fire on the night of January 21, 2008 that destroyed three nearly completed Habitat structures, displacing two families from the greater Lawrence area. Feeley & Driscoll staff members fundraised to help offset the cost of rebuilding.
