Massachusetts Society of Certified Public Accountants, Inc. Inducts Douglas McGregor to Society's Board of Directors

Boston, Massachusetts, November 30, 2001 - Douglas J. McGregor, CPA, will serve on the 2001-2002 Board of Directors for the Massachusetts Society of Certified Public Accountants, Inc. (MSCPA).  Mr. McGregor is the partner and director of Healthcare Services at Feeley & Driscoll, P.C., of Boston.  He was inducted to the Society’s Board of Director’s. 

Mr. McGregor is an active member of the MSCPA and also a member of the MHA, AICPA, HFMA and the AHA.  Mr. McGregor received a BS in accounting from Northeastern University and was a part of the Accounting Honors Society while in college.

The Massachusetts Society of Certified Public Accountants, Inc. (www.MSCPAonline.org) is the state professional association of certified public accountants, representing over 8,500 members in public accounting practice, industry and business, government and education.  The Society works to develop and maintain high professional standards and offers a wide array of legislative, technical and referral services to its members.

The Board of Directors is the governing body of the Society.  The Board administers the affairs of the Society, supervises its property and finances, names an auditing committee to select an auditor, and exercises other powers and performs other duties designated by the Society.
