MICHAEL J. POIRIER APPOINTED TO CRITTENTON WOMEN'S UNION BOARD OF DIRECTORS

BOSTON, MASSACHUSETTS (June 2008) -- Feeley & Driscoll, P.C. is pleased to announce that Michael J. Poirier has been appointed to the Board of Directors of Crittenton Women’s Union, a nonprofit organization that transforms the course of low-income women’s lives by offering career counseling, housing support, education and training programs, and self- sufficiency advocacy.

The result of the merger of 19th century service organizations Crittenton and The Women’s Union in 2006, Crittenton Women’s Union (CWU) has more than 300 years of combined service and support on behalf of low-income and at-risk women and their families. CWU is Massachusetts’ largest provider of transitional housing for homeless mothers and children and domestic violence survivors. Additionally, CWU helps women complete education and/or receive further training with the end goal of self-sufficiency and economic independence.

Mr. Poirier is a director at Feeley & Driscoll and has over 20 years of public accounting and business consulting experience focused in the manufacturing and distribution and technology industries. He provides expert advice to organizations seeking operations and financial guidance. A graduate of Northeastern University, Mr. Poirier is a Certified Public Accountant and holds a certification from the Association for Operations Management.
