Feeley & Driscoll, P.C. and its Employees Donate Over $17,000SEPTEMBER 12, 2005 In response to the devastation caused by Hurricane Katrina, Feeley & Driscoll, P.C., CPAs is showing their support of American Red Cross disaster relief efforts by making a donation of over $17,000. The Firm matched contributions by Staff upon learning about the devastation and destruction in Louisiana , Mississippi and Alabama caused by the hurricane. The Red Cross is launching the largest mobilization of resources for a single natural domestic disaster, providing emergency shelter, food, water, as well as other critical and long-term assistance.
Red Cross disaster relief focuses on meeting people's immediate emergency disaster-caused needs. When a disaster threatens or strikes, the Red Cross provides shelter, food, and health and mental health services to address basic human necessities. In addition to these services, the core of Red Cross disaster relief is the assistance given to individuals and families affected by disaster to enable them to resume their normal daily activities independently.
